Come bask in the magic of the silent film era with us on Friday, September 29, 2023 for Silent Movie Day! We’ll be showing captivating classics from the silent era all day — including shorts from Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin, as well as Within Our Gates and The Doll, two of the greatest silent films ever.

The Nightlight is thrilled to partner with Downtown Akron Partnership to present Cinema in the City, a free outdoor film series featuring beloved films, and set against the backdrop of Downtown Akron, to close out Summer 2023.
