What's New for Nighlight Members in 2026

For eleven years, The Nightlight has been shaped and supported by people who share the same conviction we do: that Akron should have a home for independent film, conversation, and the kind of shared experiences that spark curiosity and joy.

This past year affirmed our shared vision in a big way. Since completing our expansion and reopening as a two-screen cinema in June, we’ve seen our community show up in record numbers — including 3,000 tickets sold in November, our highest month to date. We’ve hosted dozens of filmmakers, reached new audiences, and watched the energy around our theater bloom.
