The Philadelphia Story (1940)
Join us Thursday, November 7 at 5:30 PM for a special screening of The Philadelphia Story, in partnership with Kent State University Museum, to celebrate The Hepburn Style: Katharine and Her Designers exhibition, which runs through May 25, 2025.
Before the film, Professor Joanne Fenn, Collections Manager and Museum Registrar, will give a presentation about the significance of Katharine Hepburn’s style and answer any questions we may have before we watch the classic film.

Since 2014, The Nightlight has brought exceptional indie films worth seeing on the big screen to Akron seven nights a week.
And it won’t be long before screen two makes its debut, helping us more than double our impact. Construction for our Second Screen Expansion is set to start in Fall 2024.
In the meantime, we’ll be leveling up our website, ticketing, memberships, and programming, so stay tuned!
