ABOUT

The Nightlight Cinema is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit movie theater dedicated to advancing cinema and community in tandem.

The Nightlight is located at 30 North High Street in downtown Akron. Formed in 2014 from a love of cinema and community, our unique cinema strives to build up those elements together. Open nightly, we provide a classy nightspot to enjoy the cinematic art-form with a thoughtful community. Every night is an opportunity to explore a new world or idea, sip a delectable drink, and run into friends new and old. We warmly welcome you to The Nightlight Cinema.

Hours

The cinema is open seven days a week; on occasion we are closed for private events. The box office, bar, and concessions open 30 minutes before the first show of the day and close when the last show ends. Typically, this is from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.
