The Nightlight Cinema is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit movie theater dedicated to advancing cinema and community in tandem.

The Nightlight is located at 30 North High Street in downtown Akron. It opened on July 1, 2014 thanks to key grants from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and GAR Foundation.

The cinema is open seven days a week; on occasion we are closed for private events. The box office, bar, and concessions open 30 minutes before the first show of the day and close when the last show ends. Typically, this is from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.

Ticket Prices

Adults - $9.00
Senior Citizens (65 and over) - $8.00
Children (12 and under) - $8.00
